The new spiritual home of Ume Burger's much loved Surry Hills venue "Bar Ume". Ume Burger Darling Square is serving up the same Japanese inspired burgers and bar food that made it a local institution. From the award-winning Chicken Katsu burger to the deliciously addictive hot chips with Umami seasoning, the menu also features a range of seasonal favourites including the amazing fried brussel sprouts with Kerby Craig's sake lees vinegar dressing, seasonal Japanese soft serve and of course the famous Ebi Katsu burger.
Ume Burger Darling Square lives inside the iconic Exchange Building, designed by Japan’s legendary architect Kengo Kuma. It’s a short walk from light rail, Chinatown, Darling Harbour and Central Station.
