Bondi Farmers Market & Bondi Markets

Bringing talented makers of fresh produce to customers who care about the source of their food, the Saturday morning Bondi Farmers Market is the spot for brunch delights and handmade treats. Bring your yoga mat and enjoy some zen time with a pop-up yoga class. On Sundays, head to the Bondi Markets to get your hands on clothing, jewellery, vinyl records and vintage homewares.

Carriageworks Farmers Market  

A 10min walk from Redfern Station, the award-winning Carriageworks Farmers Market is held every Saturday in an 1880s railway precinct. You'll find seasonal produce from over 70 farmers and artisan food producers across NSW, and you can even learn the stories behind their food. Find organic and biodynamic produce, artisan bread, boutique wines, single-origin coffee, herbal teas, meat, eggs, fresh honey and freshly cut flowers. 

Paddington Markets  

Held every Saturday morning, the Paddington Markets started in 1973, as a way to connect local fashion designers, craftspeople, jewellers and artists with customers. Set in the grounds of the heritage-listed Paddington Uniting Church on Oxford Street, the market now has over 150 unique stalls selling fashion, accessories, delicately scented soaps and candles and pictures that inspire. Head to the Paddington Reservoir afterwards for a dose of greenery.

Markets at Glebe

One of Sydney’s best-known Saturday markets is in the stylish suburb of Glebe. Offering colourful vintage clothes, new clothing designed by locals, and hand-crafted jewellery and accessories, the market has over 200 stalls for you to browse. Relax on the nearby lawns after you’ve shopped up a storm with some delicious food; the market also includes food stalls selling gozleme, kebabs, dumplings, fancy doughnuts and tandoori chicken wraps.

The Rocks Markets 

Weekends come alive at The Rocks Markets, where artisanal wares, gourmet street food and harbourside views come together on Sydney's oldest cobblestone streets. Meet local artists and photographers, sample handmade beauty products, or refuel at one of the many food vendors. The markets are within walking distance of the CBD, and transport hubs Circular Quay and Wynyard. Afterwards, head to some of Sydney’s oldest pubs or a restaurant overlooking the harbour.

Sydney Fish Market 

Experience the vibrant atmosphere of Sydney Fish Market, a working fish market located on the harbour in Blackwattle Bay, Pyrmont – just a short distance from downtown Sydney. It's the largest market of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere, selling a range of seafood and fresh produce. Also on-site are cafés, restaurants, a wholesale auction, and the Sydney Seafood School, where you can take hands-on-lesson, which includes a delicious meal and a glass of wine. 

Rozelle Collectors Market 

The Rozelle Collectors Market offers secondhand wares, collectables, fashion, jewellery and antiques. Stallholders have been selling pre-loved wares in the grounds of the Rozelle Public School for over 20 years, and the markets are a brilliant spot for a leisurely browse and a fabulous place to bag some unique finds. Be sure to explore nearby Balmain afterwards, which has an abundance of heritage pubs and lovingly restored cottages. 

Cambridge Markets EQ 

The bi-weekly Cambridge Markets at the Entertainment Quarter in Moore Park offers produce and goods from 40 stallholders. Every Wednesday and Saturday you can find seasonal produce straight from farms, beautiful fresh flowers, crafts and clothing, French linen and lots of delicious food! 

Marrickville Organic Food & Farmers Market

Each Sunday morning, loyal visitors from all over Sydney trek to Marrickville Organic Food & Farmers Market for organic groceries, vintage clothes, books, rugs, and even healing crystals and tarot readings. Stop by Brooklyn Boy Bagels for a poppy seed bagel with cream cheese, lox, dill and capers. Be sure to put aside some time to explore the diverse suburb of Marrickville with its vibrant music and art scene. 

Sydney Vegan Market 

Running on the third Sunday of every month at Olympic Blvd and Cathy Freeman Park in Sydney Olympic Park, the Sydney Vegan Market is your ultimate destination for all things plant-based, cruelty-free and vegan. Alongside up to 130 committed vegan stalls, from fresh food to homewares to coffee to fashion, expect a slew of entertainment and activities including free yoga, pilates, mindfulness for kids and a free education series “TENT Talks”.  

Kirribilli Markets

The Kirribilli Markets offer one of the best city vistas, overlooking the sparkling harbour and the Sydney Harbour Bridge. On Saturdays, the market features over 220 stalls selling new and recycled fashion and accessories, antiques and collectables, and homewares. On Sundays, the market has a more artisan focus, with stallholders offering art, design and emerging local fashion designers. Enjoy live music and international food as you browse. 

Sydney Flower Market

Get up early for the Sydney Flower Market – the largest in Australia – and take your pick from the incredible fresh-cut blooms on offer Monday to Saturday.  There are around 170 stalls to choose from, with flowers grown within two to three hours of the markets at Homebush. 

Blak Markets  

Learn about Aboriginal culture at the bi-monthly Blak Markets on Sundays at Bare Island and at The Rocks. With stalls selling authentic arts, crafts, homewares and food from Indigenous stallholders, 100% of the profits go back into Aboriginal communities. The markets also feature a program of events including a smoking ceremony, Welcome to Country, weaving and art workshops, and dance and musical performances.
