Open mics are the birthplace of comedians who are looking to get better at performing and try new jokes. They're also for people who want to get on stage for the first time. Come see some rising stars and industry professionals at the Laugh Inn Comedy on Edge open mics.
The Sydney stand-up comedy scene is brimming with talent. Maybe you'll get to see the next big star? Or you might catch a drop-in from a pro comedian trying out new material? These open mic nights are held on the top floor (cinema room) of the Newtown Hotel in the heart of Newtown.
Want to sign up and try comedy for yourself? All you have to do is put your name in the bucket on the night. Open Mic Comedians get up to four minutes each to try out their material.
